What is the best Black Friday rural full fibre deal? As listed on 6 November 2026, Gigaclear’s Galileo 900 gives new customers the first 6 months free, then £29 a month, on an 18-month minimum term that includes the free months. Galileo 900 gives you 900Mbps average speeds, the same up and down. If you need less speed, Explorer 300 is the first 3 months free, then £19 a month. Gigaclear’s terms say these prices are for orders placed before 7 December 2026, and the Explorer 300 and Galileo 900 offers are only available to the first 2,500 customers per package. This SwitchSquid guide compares Gigaclear with Quickline and Hey!Broadband on monthly price, contract length and what happens when the minimum term finishes. If you buy through the links on this page, we may earn a commission from the provider; it does not change the price you pay.

Black Friday rural full fibre deals at a glance

Black Friday 2026 is on Friday 27 November and Cyber Monday on 30 November, but the biggest rural broadband offer of the season is already running. Gigaclear’s homepage leads with “Get up to 6 months FREE full fibre!” for Black Friday. The smaller rural networks have their own offers too, though none of them calls its prices a Black Friday deal.

  • Gigaclear Galileo 900: first 6 months free, then £29 a month, 18-month minimum term, eero Pro 7 router and eero Secure included, £0 activation. Built in rural England; check your postcode.

  • Gigaclear Explorer 300: first 3 months free, then £19 a month, 18-month minimum term, eero 7 router, £0 activation.

  • Gigaclear Odyssey 600: first 3 months free, then £25 a month (£24 in some postcodes, according to Gigaclear’s terms), 18-month minimum term, eero 7 router and eero Secure.

  • Hey!Broadband: Superfast 150 at £23 a month and Gigafast 900 at £43 a month on 24-month contracts, with set price steps each April and £100 bill credit if you switch using One Touch Switch at checkout.

  • Quickline (Yorkshire and Lincolnshire): full fibre packages from 200Mbps to 2300Mbps with no mid-contract price rises, and its smallest package listed at “less than 83p a day”. Quickline shows exact prices once you enter your postcode.

Why rural homes should look at full fibre this Black Friday

Rural households have been waiting longer for full fibre than anyone else, and that gap is closing. Ofcom’s Connected Nations 2025 report found that full fibre was available to 78% of UK homes in July 2025, but only 61% of rural homes, against 81% in towns and cities. In rural Scotland the figure was 50%. Ofcom also counted about 44,000 premises that still could not get a decent broadband connection from a fixed line or fixed wireless network.

Where full fibre has arrived, rural homes are taking it up faster. Ofcom found that 56% of rural premises with full fibre available had switched to it, compared with 40% in urban areas. That makes sense: if your old copper line gives you 10Mbps on a good day, the jump to 300Mbps or more is obvious. Satellite is filling some gaps too, with Ofcom putting Starlink take-up at more than 110,000 UK customers.

The networks in this guide are the ones building in villages and hamlets that the big names often skip. Gigaclear builds across rural England, in what its homepage calls 26 counties and counting. Quickline covers Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, and Hey!Broadband runs its own full fibre network. Each one only sells where it has built, so the first step is always to check your exact address.

Rural full fibre deals compared side by side

Free months make a deal look cheap, so compare three things: the monthly price after the free months, the contract length and what happens when the minimum term finishes. Gigaclear’s minimum term is 18 months, including the free months. Gigaclear’s terms say that after the 18 months the price moves to the list price for existing customers at that time, and they list that as £51 a month for 300Mbps, £63 for 600Mbps and £88 for 900Mbps.

Hey!Broadband prices are for 24-month contracts, as listed on 6 November 2026, and Hey!Broadband shows its April rises in pounds and pence. Gigaclear’s terms say prices may change during the contract.

At £29 a month after its 6 free months, Gigaclear’s Galileo 900 has a lower monthly price than Hey!Broadband’s Gigafast 900 at £43 a month. The catch is Gigaclear’s £88 a month list price after month 18, so the most important date on a Gigaclear contract is the end of month 18, not Black Friday.

How Gigaclear’s Black Friday offer works

Gigaclear’s November 2026 terms set out the offer in plain language. The 300Mbps package at 3 months free then £19 a month, and the 900Mbps package at 6 months free then £29 a month, “are only available to the first 2,500 customers per package who place an order before 7 December 2026.” The 600Mbps package at 3 months free then £24 or £25 a month, depending on postcode, is available to eligible customers who place an order before 7 December 2026. The minimum term for each package is 18 months, inclusive of any free months.

A few other points from Gigaclear’s own pages are worth knowing before you order:

  • New customers only. You count as new if at least 60 days have passed since Gigaclear services at the property were disconnected.

  • Only where Gigaclear is ready. The offer applies at selected addresses where a Gigaclear connection point is ready for service. You order by entering an eligible postcode on gigaclear.com or by phone.

  • Activation and installation. Gigaclear lists £0 activation and free standard installation on all packages.

  • Minimum speeds. Gigaclear states minimum download speeds of 240Mbps on Explorer 300, 480Mbps on Odyssey 600 and 700Mbps on Galileo 900.

  • Still in contract elsewhere? Gigaclear’s homepage offers free full fibre for up to 12 months while you wait for your current contract to end. Ask Gigaclear how that works with the Black Friday price before you order.

Gigaclear Explorer 300, first 3 months free, then £19 a month

  • £0 a month for 3 months, then £19 a month on an 18-month minimum term including the free months, as listed on 6 November 2026
  • 300Mbps average speed up and down with an eero 7 router and £0 activation
  • Main limitation: first 2,500 customers per package, and £51 a month list price after month 18

Which rural full fibre deal suits you?

If you work from home or upload a lot

Gigaclear and Hey!Broadband both list the same average speed up and down. That matters more than most people expect. A 900Mbps upload lets you send large video files, back up photos and run clear video calls while someone else streams in the next room. Gigaclear’s Galileo 900 gives you that speed for £29 a month after the first 6 months free, as listed on 6 November 2026.

If you live alone or use the internet lightly

Explorer 300 at 3 months free then £19 a month is plenty for streaming, browsing and the odd video call. It has the lowest monthly price of Gigaclear’s Black Friday packages. If you are outside Gigaclear’s area, Hey!Broadband’s Superfast 150 at £23 a month is worth comparing.

If you are in rural Scotland

Gigaclear’s coverage page says it is building across more than 26 counties in England, and every county named on its locations page is in England. Ofcom’s Connected Nations 2025 report put rural Scotland full fibre availability at 50% in July 2025, so check a Scottish full fibre provider’s postcode checker for your address, and compare monthly price and April rises on that provider’s own page before you order.

If you are in Yorkshire or Lincolnshire

Quickline is the main rural full fibre network there, and it promises no mid-contract price rises. Its deals page also says it will help cover the exit fee from your old provider once you are connected. Enter your postcode on Quickline’s site to see the exact price for your address.

Important conditions before you order

Rural full fibre deals are good value, but they come with conditions you should read first.

  • The price after the minimum term. Gigaclear’s list prices of £51, £63 and £88 a month are well above the offer prices. Put a reminder in your calendar for month 17 and look at your options then.

  • Annual price rises. Hey!Broadband shows its April rises in pounds and pence on its price pages. Quickline says it has no mid-contract price rises. Gigaclear’s terms say prices may change during the contract.

  • Limited availability. Gigaclear’s 300Mbps and 900Mbps offers are capped at the first 2,500 customers per package, so they may close before 7 December 2026.

  • Landline calls. These are broadband-only prices. Gigaclear lists home phone from £6 a month if you still need a landline number.

  • Router extras. Gigaclear’s terms mention an extra Smart WiFi node at £6 a month if you need it. A large stone farmhouse may need more than one wifi unit, so ask before you order.

How to switch to rural full fibre

  1. Check your address. Enter your postcode on the provider’s site. If it says the service is not available yet, register your interest and look at the other networks in this guide.

  2. Check your current contract. Find your end date and any exit fee in your current provider’s app or account. Gigaclear and Quickline both offer some help if you are still in contract.

  3. Pick the speed you need. Most homes are well served by 300Mbps. Choose 900Mbps or more if several people work from home, game or upload large files.

  4. Order and book installation. An engineer connects the fibre to your home and fits a small box inside. Your new provider handles the switch with One Touch Switch, so you do not need to call your old one.

  5. Set a reminder. Note the end of your minimum term so you can compare deals before the price rises.

Our verdict

If Gigaclear can connect your home, its Black Friday offer is well worth a look. As listed on 6 November 2026, Galileo 900 is the first 6 months free, then £29 a month, and Explorer 300 is the first 3 months free, then £19 a month. Just remember that the price moves to Gigaclear’s list price after month 18, and that the 300Mbps and 900Mbps offers are limited to the first 2,500 customers per package. If you are outside Gigaclear’s area, Hey!Broadband and Quickline are worth comparing on monthly price and yearly price rises.

Gigaclear Odyssey 600, first 3 months free, then £25 a month

  • £0 a month for 3 months, then £25 a month (£24 in some postcodes) on an 18-month minimum term, as listed on 6 November 2026
  • 600Mbps average speed up and down, eero 7 router and eero Secure included
  • Main limitation: £63 a month list price after month 18, and you need a Gigaclear-ready address

FAQ

What is the best Black Friday rural broadband deal in 2026?

As listed on 6 November 2026, Gigaclear’s Galileo 900 is the standout: the first 6 months free, then £29 a month, on an 18-month term. That gives you 900Mbps average speeds, the same up and down. Gigaclear only sells in parts of rural England, so check your address first.

When does Gigaclear’s Black Friday offer finish?

Gigaclear’s terms say the offer prices are for orders placed before 7 December 2026. The 300Mbps and 900Mbps offers are only available to the first 2,500 customers per package, so they could close sooner.

Do I have to pay for the free months later?

No. The free months are part of the 18-month minimum term, so you pay nothing for them. After the free months, Galileo 900 is £29 a month and Explorer 300 is £19 a month for the rest of the 18-month minimum term.

What happens to the price after 18 months on Gigaclear?

Gigaclear’s terms say the price moves to the list price for existing customers at that time. As listed on 6 November 2026, that is £51 a month for 300Mbps, £63 for 600Mbps and £88 for 900Mbps. You can compare other deals before your minimum term finishes.

Is Gigaclear available in Scotland or Wales?

Gigaclear’s coverage page says it is building across more than 26 counties in England, and every county named on its locations page is in England. If you live in Scotland or Wales, enter your postcode in Gigaclear’s checker to confirm, then check a local full fibre provider’s postcode checker. Compare that provider’s monthly price and contract terms on its own page before you order.

Can I get a rural full fibre deal if I am still in contract?

Often, yes. Gigaclear’s homepage offers free full fibre for up to 12 months while you wait for your current contract to end, and Quickline says it will help cover your old provider’s exit fee. Ask each provider how that works with the offer price before you order.

Is full fibre worth it in a rural area?

For most rural homes, yes. Ofcom found that 56% of rural premises with full fibre available had already taken it up, compared with 40% in urban areas. Speeds of 300Mbps or more, with the same speed for uploads, are a big step up from an old copper line.
