The £20 golden ticket is a narrower offer:

• Product: home900 (900 Mbps download / 900 Mbps upload class — confirm average speeds on toob’s plan page).

• Who: new toob customers only.

• Where: net-new CityFibre property — select addresses; excludes toob’s own-built network; may be unavailable if you already have a live CityFibre connection at the property.

• When (historical): orders were accepted between 9am on 4 August 2026 and 11:59pm on 30 September 2026 (inclusive).

Speeds, Wi‑Fi and what 900 Mbps actually feels like

home900 is marketed for multi-device homes: 4K streaming, video calls, cloud backups, and everyday WFH concurrency. Average speeds are only meaningful on a wired ethernet path to a capable NIC. Wi‑Fi 5 on a thick-walled terrace will not deliver “900 Mbps” to a phone in the loft — budget for mesh / complete wi-fi if your layout is hostile, and remember those add-ons sit outside the £20 promo.
