Next update: when Saily, Mozillion or Breeze change their prices, and before the Christmas travel rush.
By: Switch Editorial Team, Switch Squid Ltd
As of 24 October 2026, Saily charges US$22.99 for 10GB over 30 days in the USA, US$10.99 in Thailand and US$30.99 in Canada, while Mozillion’s Travel eSIM sells the same 10GB for 30 days in the USA for £11 and Breeze lists 10GB for the USA at £12 on special offer. Saily is a well-made, easy eSIM with 24/7 chat and security extras, but for the USA and Canada it usually costs more per gigabyte than these two alternatives. The catch with Saily is that it prices in US dollars, so your bank may add a foreign transaction fee. This SwitchSquid review covers how Saily works, what it costs in the countries people are searching for most, and when a cheaper eSIM makes more sense. We may earn a commission if you buy through links on this page; it doesn’t change the price you pay.

Mozillion Travel eSIM USA: 10GB for 30 days at £11
- 10GB of data for 30 days in the USA on T-Mobile’s 5G network for £11, when we checked on 24 October 2026
- No code needed; a one-off payment in pounds with no contract
- Main limitation: data only, so calls and texts stay on your UK SIM, and your phone must be unlocked and take an eSIM
Is Saily a good eSIM?
Yes, for most travellers Saily is a good eSIM. It is simple to set up, it covers more than 200 destinations from one app, and plans switch on automatically when you land. It comes from the team behind NordVPN, which shows in the extras: Saily’s app can block malicious links, cut down on ads and trackers, and change your virtual location, none of which you get from a basic travel eSIM.
Where Saily is less strong is price on bigger allowances in North America. Its 10GB, 30-day USA plan was US$22.99 (about £17.20) when we checked, against £11 for Mozillion and £12 for Breeze. Thailand is the exception: Saily’s 10GB for 30 days was US$10.99 (about £8.22), about £2.80 less than Mozillion’s £11 and the cheapest of the three. So the honest answer is that Saily is good, but whether it is the best value depends on where you are going and how much data you need.
What we like
One eSIM for every trip: you add new destinations to the same Saily eSIM rather than installing a new one each time.
A 180-day window to activate a plan, so you can buy well before you fly.
24/7 live chat support inside the app.
3% back in Saily credits on plans, plus £4 Saily credit each for you and a friend you refer on standard plans (£8 on Ultra).
What to watch
Prices are in US dollars, so the pound cost moves with the exchange rate and your card may charge a fee.
No UK phone number: Saily is data only unless you add its separate US number and call plan. Keep your UK SIM in the phone for calls and texts.
Unlimited plans are not unlimited at full speed. In the USA and Thailand you get 5GB a day at full speed, then up to 1Mbps; in Canada it is 3GB a day.

What the numbers say: for a trip to the USA, Mozillion’s 10GB at £11 is about £6 less than Saily’s US$22.99 (about £17.20), before any card fee, and Breeze’s £12 10GB plan is about £5 less. For Canada, Breeze’s 10GB at £13 is about £10 less than Saily’s US$30.99 (about £23.17). In Thailand it goes the other way: Saily is the cheapest of the three at US$10.99 (about £8.22), against £11 for Mozillion and £16 for Breeze. For heavy streaming in the USA, Mozillion’s 15-day unlimited plan at £34 and Saily’s US$45.99 (about £34.38) cost almost the same; Saily gives 5GB a day at full speed, while Mozillion has a 30GB fair use allowance.
Choose Breeze eSIM USA: 10GB for £12 on offer, 10% off two or more
- USA 10GB for 30 days at £12 (usually £16), or 20GB for £21 (usually £26)
- No code needed: buy two or more eSIMs and 10% comes off at checkout
- About £5 less than Saily’s 10GB USA plan at US$22.99 (about £17.20)
How does Saily work?
You download the Saily app, pick a destination and plan, and install the eSIM on your phone before you travel. Saily says plans activate automatically when you arrive, and you switch on data roaming for the Saily line. Your UK SIM stays in the phone, so you can still receive calls and texts on your normal number if you allow it.
Your phone must support eSIM and be unlocked. Mozillion lists the iPhone 11 to 17 range, Samsung Galaxy S20 to S25 series and all Google Pixel phones as compatible, and gives a quick check for any other phone: dial *#06#, and if an EID number appears, your phone can take an eSIM. Our guide to what an eSIM is and how it works explains the set-up in more detail.
Saily eSIM for the USA, Thailand and Canada
USA
Saily’s US plans run from 1GB for US$3.99 up to 20GB for US$36.99, with 10GB for 30 days at US$22.99. Mozillion’s US eSIM runs on T-Mobile with 5G and costs £11 for 10GB over 30 days, or £25 for 25GB. Breeze’s US special offer is 10GB for £12. If you are going to the USA for Christmas, Mozillion’s £11 is about £6 less than Saily’s 10GB plan (US$22.99, about £17.20), and Breeze’s £12 is about £5 less.
Thailand
Thailand is where Saily is most competitive. Its plans start at US$2.99 for 1GB over 7 days, and 10GB for 30 days is US$10.99 (about £8.22), the cheapest 10GB of the three we checked. Mozillion’s Thailand eSIM is £11 for 10GB over 30 days on the AIS and TrueMove networks, both with 5G, or £21 for 25GB, and Breeze charges £16 for 10GB. For more data, Saily’s 20GB is US$19.99 (about £14.95), roughly 75p a GB, against about 84p a GB on Mozillion’s 25GB plan.
Canada
Canada is the costliest of the three on Saily: US$30.99 (about £23.17) for 10GB over 30 days, and its unlimited plan gives 3GB a day at full speed before slowing to 1Mbps. Breeze sells 10GB for 30 days in Canada at £13, about £10 less than Saily, and a North America 10GB plan covering three countries at £12 on special offer. If you are combining Canada and the USA, Breeze’s regional plan is the one to check first.

What are the best Saily alternatives in the UK?
Mozillion Travel eSIM: the cheapest 10GB for the USA in our check, with one reusable eSIM for over 200 destinations and top-ups on the go. Prices are in pounds and plans activate on arrival.
Breeze eSIM: strong special-offer prices for the USA, North America, Spain and Turkey, plus 10% off when you buy two or more eSIMs, which suits families. Plans start from £4.
eSIMania: another option with country and regional plans, though it prices in US dollars like Saily.

Saily vs roaming on your UK plan
Before you buy any travel eSIM, check what your UK plan already includes. Many UK SIMs include roaming in the EU at no extra cost, though often with a lower data cap than at home. For the USA, Canada and Thailand most UK plans charge a daily fee or do not include roaming at all, which is where a travel eSIM saves money. Our EU roaming SIM deals guide covers plans that include Europe, and our eSIM vs physical SIM guide explains how to run two lines on one phone.
Who it suits
Good fit for Saily: you travel often, want one app for every trip, and value the ad blocking, malicious link protection and virtual location tools, or you are going to Thailand, where its 10GB plan (US$10.99, about £8.22) was the cheapest of the three.
Good fit for Mozillion: you want the lowest price for 10GB in the USA, paid in pounds: £11, about £6 less than Saily.
Good fit for Breeze: you are travelling as a family or group, or going to Canada, Spain or Turkey.
Consider your UK plan’s roaming: if you are only going to the EU for a few days.

FAQ
Is Saily a good eSIM?
Saily is a good, easy-to-use eSIM with 24/7 chat support, coverage in more than 200 destinations and security extras from the team behind NordVPN. It is not always the cheapest, though. On 24 October 2026 its 10GB USA plan was US$22.99 (about £17.20), against £11 for Mozillion’s Travel eSIM.
Who owns Saily?
Saily is made by the team behind NordVPN, and its site describes it as backed by the NordVPN brand. It launched its first eSIM plans in November 2023, covering more than 160 countries at the time.
Does Saily give you a UK phone number?
No. Saily plans are data only, and the only number it offers is an optional US number with a separate call and text plan. Keep your UK SIM active in your phone to receive calls and texts on your usual number.
What is the cheapest eSIM for the USA?
In our check on 24 October 2026, Mozillion’s Travel eSIM was the cheapest 10GB plan for the USA at £11 for 30 days. Breeze was £12 on special offer and Saily was US$22.99 (about £17.20). Prices change often, so check the plan page before you buy.
Does Saily work in Thailand?
Yes. Saily sells Thailand plans from US$2.99 for 1GB over 7 days, and 10GB for 30 days was US$10.99 (about £8.22) on 24 October 2026, which made Saily the cheapest of the three we checked. Mozillion’s Thailand eSIM costs £11 for the same allowance on the AIS and TrueMove 5G networks, and Breeze £16.
Is Saily unlimited really unlimited?
Not at full speed. In the USA and Thailand, Saily’s unlimited plans give 5GB a day without a speed limit, then slow to up to 1Mbps for the rest of the day. In Canada the full-speed allowance is 3GB a day.
Can I use Saily and my UK SIM at the same time?
Yes, if your phone supports dual SIM with eSIM. You set Saily as the line for mobile data and keep your UK SIM on for calls and texts. Turn off data roaming on your UK line so you are not charged by your home network.
Our verdict
Saily is a good eSIM if you want one polished app with security extras, and in Thailand it was the cheapest of the three: US$10.99 (about £8.22) for 10GB against £11 for Mozillion. For the USA, though, Mozillion’s £11 for 10GB is about £6 less than Saily’s US$22.99 (about £17.20), and Breeze’s £12 10GB plan about £5 less, on 24 October 2026.
