Why Use Switch to Compare BT TV Deals?
Switch is a free, independent comparison service. We do not charge you anything to compare deals, our partners pay us a referral fee when you sign up, which means you always pay the same price you would going directly.
Verified prices, updated daily
Every tariff on Switch is sourced from a verified UK partner and refreshed daily. The price you see is the price you pay, no bait-and-switch.
Compare by what actually matters
Filter BT TV deals by monthly cost, contract length, broadband speed and setup fee. Sort by total contract cost to compare like-for-like, rather than just the introductory headline price.
Switch in under 10 minutes
Most customers go from comparison to confirmed order in under ten minutes. No phone calls, no waiting on hold. Click through to the provider, complete your order online, and your switch is handled automatically.
Honest, no-pressure comparison
Switch shows you every major UK broadband and TV provider in one place, including smaller challengers that many big comparison sites skip. We never push you towards a particular provider.
What to Look Out for When Comparing BT TV Deals
BT's headline prices are usually promotional rates for the first year or first few months. After the introductory period, the monthly cost rises, sometimes by 30 to 50%. Here is what to check before you commit:
Total contract cost, not just monthly price
Add up the full 24-month cost including setup fees and price rises. Switch displays this clearly so you can compare BT TV deals on a fair, like-for-like basis.
Setup and delivery fees
BT charges a setup fee of around £61.99 on most packages, covering router delivery and activation. Some seasonal deals waive this, check the deal card carefully.
Annual price increases
BT applies price rises every April. Some newer deals are price-locked until April 2027, but you should confirm this before signing up. The increase is typically £4 per month per year.
Full fibre availability
Not every postcode has access to BT full fibre (FTTP). Enter your postcode on Switch and we will cross-reference Openreach availability so you only see packages that actually work at your address.
TV package flexibility
BT TV lets you change your TV package every 30 days, except in the final 3 months of your contract. This is genuinely useful if your TV needs change throughout the year.
How to Compare BT TV Deals on Switch
- Enter your postcode. Switch checks Openreach availability and only shows you packages that work at your address.
- Filter and sort. Narrow down by speed, monthly cost, contract length and TV package. Sort by total cost to compare fairly.
- Click Get Deal. You are taken directly to the provider's checkout. Most installs happen within two weeks; full-fibre installs require an Openreach engineer visit.
