<p><strong>When do O2’s Black Friday SIM only deals start? O2 says its Black Friday sale started early this year on 5 November. As listed on 6 November 2026, O2 sells Unlimited Plus for £19.99 a month on a 24-month contract, rising to £22.49 from April 2027 and £24.99 from April 2028, and Classic 75GB for £18 a month, rising to £20.50 from April 2027 and £23 from April 2028. At each of the last two Black Fridays, O2 sold unlimited data on 24 months for £20 a month, and this year’s Unlimited Plus price is £19.99.</strong> This SwitchSquid guide sets out O2’s Black Friday SIM only prices, how they compare with past Black Friday deals, what O2’s April rises add each month, and cheaper SIMs that use the same O2 masts. If you buy through the links on this page, we may earn a commission from the network; it does not change the price you pay.</p>

<h2>O2’s Black Friday SIM only prices</h2>
<p>O2’s Black Friday sale lists two SIM only plans on 24-month contracts. Both include unlimited UK calls and texts, and both rise each April, like every O2 airtime plan. The figures below are as listed on 6 November 2026.</p>
<table>
<thead><tr><th>O2 Black Friday plan</th><th>Contract</th><th>Monthly price</th><th>From April 2027 bill</th><th>From April 2028 bill</th></tr></thead>
<tbody>
<tr><td>Unlimited Plus (fair usage applies)</td><td>24 months</td><td>£19.99</td><td>£22.49</td><td>£24.99</td></tr>
<tr><td>Classic 75GB</td><td>24 months</td><td>£18</td><td>£20.50</td><td>£23</td></tr>
</tbody>
</table>
<p>Unlimited Plus at £19.99 a month is the headline Black Friday deal, and O2 calls it its lowest-ever price on the plan. At the last two Black Fridays, O2 sold unlimited data on 24 months for £20 a month. It suits heavy users who tether a laptop, stream on the move or share data with other devices.</p>
<p>Classic 75GB at £18 a month is the lower monthly outlay of the two. Your phone’s settings show last month’s mobile data, so check that figure before you decide whether you need unlimited.</p>

<li><strong>£18 a month</strong> for 75GB on a 24-month contract, rising to £20.50 from April 2027 and £23 from April 2028, as listed on 6 November 2026</li><li><strong>No code needed:</strong> check the price and any Extra on O2’s page before you order</li><li>Main limitation: 75GB rather than unlimited data, so heavy tetherers may prefer Unlimited Plus</li>

<h2>When does O2’s Black Friday 2026 sale start?</h2>
<p>O2 answers this on its own Black Friday page: “Our Black Friday sale started early this year on 5 November.” Black Friday itself is Friday 27 November, with Cyber Monday on 30 November. The SIM prices above are as listed on 6 November 2026.</p>
<p>The early start fits O2’s pattern. Its last two sales ran from 7 November to 11 December 2024 and from 6 November to 10 December 2025, according to Honestquid’s record of O2’s own pages.</p>
<p>If you want the full picture across every network, our guide to <a href="https://www.switchsquid.com/mobile/guides/when-do-black-friday-sim-only-deals-start-2026/">when Black Friday SIM only deals start</a> lists the dates each network has published, and the <a href="https://www.switchsquid.com/mobile/black-friday-sim-only-deals/">Black Friday SIM only deals</a> page gathers the offers as they appear.</p>
<h2>O2 SIM only prices beside the Black Friday sale</h2>
<p>These are the 24-month plans in the Featured list on O2’s SIM only page, as listed on 6 November 2026. O2 adds £2.50 to the monthly price of its airtime plans every April, and its page shows each plan’s April 2027 and April 2028 price, so we list them in pounds next to the starting price.</p>
<table>
<thead><tr><th>O2 plan</th><th>Contract</th><th>Monthly price</th><th>From April 2027 bill</th><th>From April 2028 bill</th></tr></thead>
<tbody>
<tr><td>Unlimited Plus (Black Friday)</td><td>24 months</td><td>£19.99</td><td>£22.49</td><td>£24.99</td></tr>
<tr><td>Classic 75GB (Black Friday)</td><td>24 months</td><td>£18</td><td>£20.50</td><td>£23</td></tr>
<tr><td>Unlimited Ultimate</td><td>24 months</td><td>£24.99</td><td>£27.49</td><td>£29.99</td></tr>
</tbody>
</table>
<p>The two Black Friday plans are the lowest-priced plans in that Featured list. O2 lists seven benefits with Unlimited Ultimate against four with Unlimited Plus, at £24.99 a month against £19.99. O2 also sells 12-month and 30-day plans; see its SIM only page for those.</p>

<h2>What counts as a good O2 Black Friday price?</h2>
<p>A price is only a deal if it beats what the network usually charges. O2 gives us a clear benchmark. At Black Friday 2024 and again in 2025, it sold unlimited data on a 24-month SIM only plan for £20 a month, with the usual April rises on top.</p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Good:</strong> unlimited data on 24 months for £20 a month or less. O2’s Unlimited Plus at £19.99 meets that bar, as listed on 6 November 2026.</li>
<li><strong>Fair:</strong> 75GB on 24 months for £18, rising to £20.50 and then £23. It is not unlimited, so check your own data use first.</li>
<li><strong>Weak:</strong> anything above £20 for unlimited data on 24 months, because O2’s own sale already lists £19.99.</li>
</ul>
<p>Look out for extras too. O2’s plans come with one Extra included: as listed on 6 November 2026, Unlimited Plus offers Disney+ or Amazon Prime on O2 for six months, and the Classic 75GB plan lists the same choice for three months. Value them at what you would really pay for them, not the full retail price, and ignore anything you would cancel after the free months.</p>
<h2>How O2’s April price rises change what you pay</h2>
<p>O2 says the monthly price of its airtime plans rises by £2.50 each April. On a 24-month plan, that means two rises before the contract finishes.</p>
<p>The rise is the same £2.50 on every airtime plan, and that is why we show each rise in pounds: it lets you compare an O2 plan fairly with a network that has no mid-contract rises, such as Chattr, which says it has no price hikes, or giffgaff, whose plan page says it would “rather increase your data, not your prices”.</p>
<h2>Cheaper SIMs on O2’s network</h2>
<p>If you like O2’s coverage but not its price, several networks use the same O2 masts. Ofcom lists giffgaff, Tesco Mobile and Sky Mobile on O2’s network, and Chattr says its plans run on O2. You get the same signal at your address, though usually without O2’s extras such as Priority tickets.</p>
<table>
<thead><tr><th>Network on O2’s masts</th><th>Plan</th><th>Contract</th><th>Monthly price</th><th>Price changes</th><th>Best for</th></tr></thead>
<tbody>
<tr><td>giffgaff</td><td>40GB (6GB plus 34GB extra)</td><td>18 months</td><td>£8</td><td>giffgaff says it would rather increase your data than your prices</td><td>Lowest monthly cost</td></tr>
<tr><td>Chattr</td><td>Freedom One unlimited</td><td>No contract</td><td>£15</td><td>Falls to £14 from month 6 and £13 from month 12</td><td>Unlimited data without a contract</td></tr>
<tr><td>O2</td><td>Unlimited Plus (Black Friday)</td><td>24 months</td><td>£19.99</td><td>Rises £2.50 each April</td><td>O2 extras and shops</td></tr>
</tbody>
</table>
<p>Tesco Mobile and Sky Mobile also run on O2’s network; we have kept the table to the plans above. Our <a href="https://www.switchsquid.com/mobile/guides/giffgaff-review-uk/">giffgaff review</a> and <a href="https://www.switchsquid.com/mobile/guides/chattr-sim-review-uk-october-2026/">Chattr review</a> cover their service in more detail.</p>
<h2>EE and other networks this Black Friday</h2>
<p>EE’s Black Friday page went live early with tech and gaming offers, but as listed on 6 November 2026 it said its “Black Friday mobile deals are coming soon”, with no SIM prices. giffgaff has started its own Black Friday deals, which Honestquid reports run from 2 November to 7 December. Other networks have not published Black Friday SIM dates.</p>
<p>The rule is the same for every network: compare what you will pay across the whole contract, including any April rises, not just the first month. If you are not sure which network suits you, <a href="https://www.switchsquid.com/squid-ai/">Squid AI</a> can suggest plans from your data use and budget.</p>
<h2>How to get the best O2 price</h2>
<ol>
<li><strong>Check O2 coverage at home and work.</strong> Use O2’s coverage checker, or ask a friend on O2, giffgaff or Tesco Mobile how their signal is.</li>
<li><strong>Know your data use.</strong> Your phone’s settings show how much mobile data you used last month.</li>
<li><strong>Check your current contract.</strong> If you are still in a minimum term, you may pay to leave early. Text INFO to 85075 to see your end date and any fees.</li>
<li><strong>Get your PAC or STAC.</strong> Text PAC to 65075 to keep your number, or STAC to 75075 if you want a new one. Both are free and valid for 30 days.</li>
<li><strong>Compare the sale against the £20 benchmark.</strong> Put O2’s Black Friday prices next to the £20 unlimited figure from the last two sales, and next to the O2-network alternatives above, before you order.</li>
</ol>
<h2>Fit summary</h2>
<ul>
<li><strong>Choose O2 Unlimited Plus if:</strong> you want O2 itself, with its shops and extras, and want unlimited data. It is £19.99 a month, against £20 at the last two Black Fridays, as listed on 6 November 2026.</li>
<li><strong>Choose O2 Classic 75GB if:</strong> 75GB covers your use and you want a lower monthly O2 bill than Unlimited Plus.</li>
<li><strong>Choose giffgaff if:</strong> you want O2’s coverage for the lowest monthly price and 40GB is enough.</li>
<li><strong>Choose Chattr if:</strong> you want unlimited data on O2’s network with no contract at all.</li>
</ul>

<h2>Final decision card</h2>
<p>O2’s Black Friday sale is open, and Unlimited Plus at £19.99 a month on 24 months compares with the £20 unlimited price O2 charged in 2024 and 2025. Classic 75GB is £18 a month on 24 months. Both rise by £2.50 a month each April, as listed on 6 November 2026. If you just want O2’s signal for less, giffgaff gives 40GB on the same masts for £8 a month, and Chattr gives unlimited data with no contract for £15.</p>
