When is Black Friday 2026?
Black Friday 2026 is Friday 27 November, and Cyber Monday is Monday 30 November. Broadband offers don't keep to those two days: networks and providers usually launch Black Friday prices one to two weeks earlier, and many keep them into early December, so the deal you want may already be live.
When do Black Friday broadband deals start?
Broadband providers tend to launch Black Friday prices one to two weeks before the day, and many keep them into early December. Most offers are for new customers, and what you can get depends on your address, so check the deal is available at your postcode before you order.
Are Black Friday broadband deals really cheaper?
Not always. Which? tracked Black Friday deals and found most were the same price or cheaper at other times of the year. Broadband prices move all year, and a “was” price may be one that barely ran. Compare the total cost over the contract, not the size of the discount.
How do we check a price drop is real?
We record every price in our feeds each day. We only mark a price drop when the previous price ran for at least 30 days, the new price started less than 30 days ago, and it saves at least £10 and 3% of the total contract cost. We compare what you pay over the contract, not RRP or a network's own “was” price.
Each marked deal shows the old total and the dates it ran, so you can check the claim yourself.
Do I need to contact my current provider?
Usually not. Under Ofcom's One Touch Switch process your new provider arranges the move, and the old service stops when the new one starts. You may still owe an early exit fee if you are in contract, so check your end date first. See our switching guide.
Will the price go up in April?
Probably. Most broadband providers add a fixed rise each April, and since January 2025 Ofcom has required that rise to be shown in pounds and pence before you sign up. Check it in the deal details: a price that goes up by £2 a month from April costs £24 more over the following year.
Black Friday broadband deals 2026: questions
Can I cancel a Black Friday broadband deal?
Usually, yes. If you order online or by phone you normally have 14 days to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, though you may pay for anything you used in that time. Check the terms before you order.
