Next update: when Quickline changes its prices or Switching Reward terms, and in November 2026.
By: Switch Editorial Team, Switch Squid Ltd
Is Quickline broadband any good? As of 25 October 2026, Quickline is one of the stronger regional full fibre providers we cover: its Full Fibre 200 plan costs £24.99 a month on a 24-month contract with matching 200Mbps upload, free router and installation, and no mid-contract price rises, and it holds a 4.8 out of 5 rating from 6,618 reviews on Trustpilot. The limits are coverage, because Quickline only builds in Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, and the 24-month term, so check your postcode and your current contract before you order. This SwitchSquid review covers every Quickline plan and price, how its Switching Reward pays your old provider’s exit fees, the wireless option for homes without fibre, and how it compares with BT and Sky. We may earn a commission if you buy through links on this page; it doesn’t change the price you pay.

Who is Quickline?
Quickline Communications is a Yorkshire-based broadband company with its registered office in Willerby, near Hull. It has long focused on rural areas, including homes served by wireless broadband from local masts, and it now builds its own full fibre network across North, East, South and West Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. Quickline says it has delivered internet to more than 300,000 homes and businesses.
Because it owns its network, Quickline is what the industry calls an altnet: an alternative network to Openreach (used by BT, Sky, TalkTalk and others) and Virgin Media. That is why its plans look different. Upload matches download on every full fibre plan, and the price is fixed for the whole contract.
Quickline plans and prices (October 2026)
All prices below were checked on Quickline’s website on 25 October 2026 for new customers. Full fibre plans are on a 24-month contract.
Plan | Speed (download / upload) | Monthly price | Contract | Upfront | Price rises | 24-month total | Code or reward | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Full Fibre 200 | 200 / 200Mbps | £24.99 | 24 months | £0, free router and installation | None during the contract | About £600 | No code needed; Switching Reward for exit fees | One to three people, streaming and home working |
Full Fibre 500 | 500 / 500Mbps | £28.99 | 24 months | £0 | None during the contract | About £696 | No code needed; Switching Reward | Families with lots of devices |
Full Fibre 1000 | 1000 / 1000Mbps | £32.99 | 24 months | £0 | None during the contract | About £792 | No code needed; Switching Reward | Busy homes, gaming and large uploads |
Full Fibre 2300 | 2300 / 2300Mbps | £59.99 | 24 months | £0 | None during the contract | About £1,440 | No code needed; Switching Reward | Power users with 2.5Gbps equipment |
airUltra (wireless) | 200 / 30Mbps average | £49.99 | Check at order | £49.99 installation, subject to survey | Check at order | Depends on term | Not applicable | Rural homes without fibre yet |
Social Tariff (full fibre) | 100Mbps | £16.50 | Check at order | Check at order | Check at order | Depends on term | For eligible benefit claimants | Households on Universal Credit and other eligible benefits |
The 24-month totals are the monthly price multiplied by 24, because Quickline says the price you sign up to is the price you pay for the full contract. Quickline’s deals page describes Full Fibre 200 as less than 83p a day and the 500Mbps plan as 2.5 times the speed for about £1 a week more. Optional extras include Wi-Fi Everywhere, which guarantees Wi-Fi coverage in every room, for £7.50 a month.
What the numbers say: Full Fibre 200 at about £600 over two years is good value for most homes. The jump to 1000Mbps costs £8 a month more, about £192 over the contract, and makes sense if several people stream, game or upload at once. Full Fibre 2300 is a specialist plan; most homes won’t notice the difference unless their devices support 2.5Gbps.
Need more speed? Full Fibre 1000 for £32.99, about £792 over 24 months
- 1000Mbps download and upload for £32.99 a month, the same price for all 24 months
- Full Fibre 500 at £28.99 sits in between for most families
- No code needed: Switching Reward refunds eligible exit fees from your old provider
What do Quickline customers say?
On 25 October 2026, Quickline’s Trustpilot page showed a score of 4.8 out of 5 from 6,618 reviews. Trustpilot’s own summary of recent reviews says customers most often praise the engineers for being punctual, explaining things clearly and leaving tidy installations. Recent five-star reviews from October 2026 mention named engineers by first name, which is typical of a regional provider that does its own installs.
Two things to keep in mind. Trustpilot notes that Quickline has a claimed profile with a paid subscription, which lets companies invite reviews, and Trustpilot does not fact-check reviews. Installation experiences dominate the feedback, so they tell you more about the first week than about the second year. Look at the most recent one- and two-star reviews as well as the average before you decide.

How does the Quickline Switching Reward work?
Quickline’s Switching Reward helps if you are still in contract with another provider. In Quickline’s words, you pay your early termination fee to your old provider, send Quickline a copy of the final bill or other proof, and once you have been connected for 14 days and the proof is approved, you get the money back within 30 days. It is available to new customers on residential full fibre plans, and terms apply.
That makes Quickline one of the few providers that removes the main reason people stay put. Before you rely on it, check the full terms on the Switching Reward page, keep every bill, and remember you pay the fee upfront and are refunded later. Our broadband contract ending guide explains how exit fees are worked out.
Does Quickline put prices up mid-contract?
No. Quickline’s FAQ says the price you sign up to is the price you pay for the full length of the contract, with no mid-contract price increases. That is a real difference from most national providers. BT, for example, adds £4 a month each March, and Sky raised broadband prices by £3 a month in April 2026. Over two years, a fixed £24.99 can work out cheaper than a lower starting price that rises twice.
Quickline wireless: an option for homes without fibre
If full fibre hasn’t reached your home yet, Quickline still sells wireless broadband from local masts. airUltra costs £49.99 a month with average speeds of 200Mbps down and 30Mbps up, and airConnect costs £39.99 a month for 100Mbps down and 20Mbps up. Both carry a £49.99 installation fee and need a survey, because the receiver needs a clear line of sight. Quickline says wireless customers get priority for an install when its fibre arrives.

How Quickline compares with BT and Sky
BT Full Fibre 150: from £23.99 a month through BT’s affiliate offer, rising by £4 each March, with up to £300 towards leaving fees. Wider coverage, but slower upload and yearly rises. Our BT broadband alternatives guide has the full comparison.
Sky Full Fibre 150: listed at £24 a month on 24 months, with 27Mbps upload and a £3 rise in April 2026.
KCOM in Hull: if you live in Hull or parts of East Yorkshire, KCOM may also reach you. Our KCOM broadband deals guide covers its plans.

What to check before you sign
Postcode coverage. Quickline only covers parts of Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, street by street.
Your current contract end date, and whether the Switching Reward covers your exit fee.
Moving plans. If you might move within two years, ask what happens if Quickline doesn’t cover your new address, because leaving a 24-month contract early usually means early termination charges.
Phone line needs. If you need a landline number, ask about Quickline Talk+ when you order.
The right speed. Our what broadband speed do I need guide helps you avoid paying for speed you won’t use.
Switching is handled with One Touch Switch, so Quickline arranges the move from your old provider; our One Touch Switch guide explains the steps.
