About E.ON Next
E.ON acquired nPower in November 2019 as part of the Innogy (nPowers parent company) merger and began transitioning customers to E.ON Next in July 2020. It took less than a year to migrate 2 million former nPower customers and little disruption to them with completion being confirmed in May 2021.
E.ON also took over from energy supplier Powershop, combining the two customer bases to form E.ON Next. They have also acquired the customer base of former green energy supplier HUB as of August 2021.
E.ON Next provides 100% renewable electricity to residential supplies and small and medium-sized enterprises.
